At Quicklet, we're a people company, we just happen to be brilliant at property.
Our story starts back in 2009, when two friends, Dermot O'Hanlon and Gavin McEvoy, spotted a gap in the rental market while chatting over coffee (probably more than a few).
They realised landlords and tenants needed more than the usual tick-box service, they needed real people who actually got it.
So, they opened our very first office in Lurgan, armed with passion, local know-how, and a strong belief in doing things differently.
Turns out, people liked working with down-to-earth experts who knew their names, called them back, and genuinely cared. By 2011, we'd made our move into Belfast, acquiring several agencies and expanding our reach. Then in 2016, our third branch opened in Lisburn, with the familiar green Quicklet sign settling in once again.
In an exciting new chapter, Albany Lettings, based in Edinburgh, officially became part of the Quicklet family. A well-established name with a reputation for excellent service and local expertise, Albany shares the same values we do, people-first, results-driven, and never too far from a good laugh and a cuppa. Together, we're proud to extend the Quicklet ethos beyond Northern Ireland and into Scotland, continuing to build something genuinely special across the UK.
So yes, we've grown. But through it all, our approach remains the same: Do things properly. Treat people kindly. And enjoy the ride.
