Quicklet Group expands in Edinburgh with the acquisition of LinnMac and Investment Lettings
Edinburgh is a city we've been backing for a while now. And with the acquisition of LinnMac and Investment Lettings, we're doubling down on that commitment.
Both portfolios will be managed by Albany Lettings - our Edinburgh-based team. It's a significant milestone, and one that reflects the pace at which Albany has grown since becoming part of the Quicklet Group.
Growing the right way
Expansion for its own sake has never been the plan. We're not interested in stacking up properties and hoping the wheels don't come off. What we care about is growing in a way that's well-managed, well-supported, and good for the landlords and tenants who come with it.
What makes this acquisition meaningful is how it's been achieved. This isn't growth through new market entry - it's consolidation of existing, established portfolios within Edinburgh, brought together under a team with the local knowledge, structure, and day-to-day oversight to manage them properly. Albany Lettings continues to operate as a city-based team, with hands-on management of tenancies, maintenance and compliance across the portfolio.
The deal has been covered across the industry and national press - including Property Industry Eye, Letting Agent Today, Scottish Financial News and The Herald Scotland - which reflects both the scale of the acquisition and the broader story of what's happening in Edinburgh's private rented sector right now.
Building something that lasts
Quicklet Group started in Northern Ireland, and Northern Ireland remains at the heart of what we do. But Scotland has always felt like a natural next chapter - and Albany Lettings has been proving that out since we established our presence in Edinburgh.
This recent acquisition places Albany among a smaller group of agencies operating at genuine scale within the city, while keeping the local structure and oversight that landlords actually need from a managing agent.
We're not done yet - but we're building steadily, and we're building properly.
